Provides a pleasant introduction of the patient to HMG and is responsible for interviewing patients accurately to gather pertinent data for the completion of the Patient Registration Form and ensures quality service for the patient from arrival until departure from HMG
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Education/ Professional Qualification
High School; preferably Diploma holder or College Graduate
Experience
At least three (3) years of experience in the same field
Coordination Skills: Ability to manage schedules, appointments, and resources efficiently to meet patient and organizational needs.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers effectively.
Patient Advocacy: Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring that all individuals receive appropriate services.
Organizational Skills: Proficient in multitasking, record-keeping, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software.
Problem-Solving: Capable of addressing barriers to care and identifying practical solutions for patient needs.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare compliance standards, and insurance processes.
