Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized techsavvy and communicative Software Implementation Specialist to join our Project Delivery Team. In this role you will manage the endtoend implementation of our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and CMMS software solutions ensuring seamless integration into client environments.
From understanding client requirements to planning configuring and deploying solutions you will play a critical role in every stage of the implementation process. This fulltime inperson position reports to the Director of Project Delivery and is based in our Sacramento CA office.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Implementation Specialist you will:
- Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate business requirements into actionable software configurations.
- Planning: Develop detailed implementation plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure and tailor the NEXGEN software to align with client workflows and operational requirements.
- Data Migration: Analyze and migrate client data into the new system ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Testing: Conduct rigorous testing to identify and resolve any bugs or issues before deployment.
- Training: Deliver training sessions to client staff to ensure confidence and competence in using the software.
- Deployment: Oversee the deployment process ensuring a smooth transition into the clients operational environment.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support postimplementation to address client needs and ensure system optimization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree.
- 13 years of relevant experience in software implementation IT project management or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel Word Outlook etc.).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of municipal utilities and/or public works.
- Experience with CMMS or EAM software.
- Background in project management methodologies including tools such as Gantt charts agile workflows or similar.
Compensation:
Salary range of $60000 $70000 per year based on experience.
