Job Description: UT Technician
Job Title: UT Technician
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Salary: Competitive (Depends Upon Experience)
Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct nondestructive testing using UT techniques including UT 3.1 3.2 3.8 and 3.9.
- Evaluate materials and components for internal defects and ensure quality control.
- Generate accurate and detailed inspection reports with clear documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.
- Operate and maintain UT equipment and accessories.
- Perform calibrations and set up testing parameters as per job requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain safe working environments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and stay updated on advancements in UT technologies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid PCNLevel II certification in UT 3.1 3.2 3.8 and 3.9.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Ultrasonic Testing.
- Proficiency in interpreting UT testing results and identifying potential material defects.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes for UT inspections.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasonic testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
