Job Description

Roles and responsibilities



Responsible for the processing of activities in the Employee Relations section such as probationary appraisal, leave management, employee benefits, employees attendance, grievances, employee inquiries, payroll and other administrative support

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Handle employees’ probationary process on a monthly basis and send the probationary package to respective department heads.
  • Ensure that receipts of probationary appraisal are acknowledged by department head or his/her designee and completed with necessary signature to proceed for approval.
  • Prepare Termination package if the employee did not pass the probationary period.
  • Review, process and approve various employees’ leave in accordance with the employee entitlement in conjunction with HMG Policy and Procedure and verify guarantor(s) information and ensure authenticity of signature for employees.
  • Process overtime and compensatory time off request for approval.
  • Coordinate with Govt. Relations to ensure issuance of exit/re-entry visas for vacationing employee and for any leave cancellation and revision at the earliest possible to refrain from expired exit re-entry visa and fine.
  • Notify employee for continuous absence after the end of their vacation.
  • Ensure that vacation, sick leave, absences and overtime are currently updated against the payroll summary.
  • Prepare correspondence related to area of responsibilities.
  • Prepare contract amendments for various benefit changes and obtain necessary approval and send it to concerned department for employee’s signature and update the system accordingly.
  • Comply with the standards laid down by the JCIA/CBAHI and performs duties necessary to support and achieve the accreditation.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Desired candidate profile

Education/ Professional Qualification

Diploma Holder. Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in HR

Experience

At least (1) year of experience in relevant field

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training

Relevant certification
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships with employees and management.
Conflict Resolution: Basic knowledge of resolving workplace conflicts and mediating disputes in a fair and professional manner.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, drafting reports, and providing clear guidance.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Employee Relations Knowledge: Familiarity with workplace policies, procedures, and best practices in employee relations.
Labor Law Awareness: Basic understanding of labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, discrimination policies, and workplace safety standards.
Confidentiality: Strong commitment to handling sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
Data Management: Proficiency in maintaining employee records and generating reports using HR software or tools.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential employee concerns and suggest appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
