Requirements of the Physical Therapist (PT) :
- Current PT license in the State of Texas
- BLS
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT) :
- Plan develop and implement treatment protocols to treat improve or maintain consumer s level of function or minimize risk.
- Design and fabricates/oversees construction of seating mobility positioning and other orthotic/assistive equipment Complete all required training
- Review and analyze assessments progress reports monitoring data incident reports and medical consults to determine efficiency/impact on therapeutic services
- Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities related to therapeutic services at the facility and state level
- Design direct and oversee competencybased training program for both consumers and staff
- Participate in conference for diagnosis and treatment planning.
