Roles and responsibilities
- You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
- You will be accountable for the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.
- You will manage costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges, and present these to clients.
- Accountable for the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses and assist formal execution by the appropriate parties.
- Advises on administration of the terms of the construction works or services contracts.
- Measures and provides valuations of the work carried out and adjust variations in accordance with the terms of the contract to agree with the contractor.
- Ensures adequate cost control and reporting services during the contract.
- Supervises the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
- Identifies costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges.
- Oversees and engages in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by the contractor and any nominated subcontractors/suppliers.
- Advises on the issuing of certificates of practical completion and ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
- Advises on issue of certificate of making good defects and final completion in accordance with any requirements relating to completion, submissions and approvals.
- Manages cost consultant, providing guidance, direction and coaching and performance management.
- Delivers improvements in systems and processes, driving transformational change.
- Manages & provides leadership to a team of managers and professionals, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.
- Provides performance management, technical development and coaching.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
- Develops & maintains a series of both internal and external relationships.
- Manages & influences key/senior stakeholders.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Desired candidate profile
Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
Relevant bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
15+ yrs experience (or equivalent)
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, financial performance, and market dynamics, with the ability to develop and implement commercially viable strategies that drive business growth.
Consultancy Expertise: Extensive experience in providing commercial consultancy services, including market analysis, business strategy development, process improvement, and financial management.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, senior management, and external partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Contract Negotiation and Management: Expertise in negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, and commercial agreements with clients and third parties, ensuring favorable outcomes and adherence to legal and financial standards.
Project Delivery: Experience managing complex consultancy projects, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, and delivering on-time, on-budget, and within scope.
Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with commercial consultancy projects, ensuring that potential challenges are identified and addressed proactively.
Financial Management: Strong skills in financial forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies, ensuring projects are financially viable and profitable for the consultancy firm.
Business Development: Ability to identify new business opportunities, expand client relationships, and generate revenue streams through new projects or services.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess business data, market trends, and client requirements, and develop actionable recommendations and strategies.
Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership ability to manage, mentor, and develop consultancy teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
Change Management: Experience in driving change initiatives and process improvements within organizations, particularly in response to evolving market conditions or client needs.
