Position Overview:
As a Lead Engineer for Development at Corestrat you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Python developers to deliver highquality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your expertise will be essential in overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Translate project requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the delivery of highquality code and adherence to coding standards.
- Debug and optimize performance to ensure scalability and reliability of applications.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies integrating best practices into the development process.
- Drive innovation in development practices continuously seeking improvements in development workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Python development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Flask FastAPI and Django.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) is a must.
- Good to have knowledge of frontend technologies like React and backend technologies like Go.
- Familiarity with design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills enabling effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
