Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager cum Optometrist to oversee the daily operations of the optical store while also providing professional optometry services to customers.
In this position you are responsible to formulate the store strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy to effectively manage the sales operations marketing and administration of a store and to meet or exceed the business targets of sales profitability ROI .
Job Responsibilities:
- Store Management: Provide inputs to the ABM Area Branch Manager / RE to consolidate the potential sales on the stores and develop the annual business targets.
- Monitor Financial Performance: Track the stores financial performance against targets and take corrective action if needed.
- Reporting Mechanisms: Develop and implement systems to review operational performance.
- Drive Sales Plans: Coordinate with sales staff to monitor and achieve store targets.
- Staffing: Ensure appropriate staffing as per store requirements monitor and manage employee performance.
- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels optimize inventory and ensure effective product mix.
- Ensure Compliance: Enforce adherence to company policies (attendance dress code etc.) and handle any noncompliance issues.
- Customer Engagement: Lead customer engagement activities (e.g. birthdays anniversaries promotions).
- Store Coordination: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (admin regional teams etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
- Replenishment & Ageing Stock: Ensure timely stock replenishment and manage slowmoving or aged inventory.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and communicate customer feedback to improve satisfaction and store ratings.
- Complaint Resolution: Address customer queries and complaints promptly focusing on highprofile or regular customers.
- Training Needs Analysis: Conduct training needs assessments and provide staff with necessary training.
- Recruitment & Selection: Coordinate with HR for the recruitment of quality store staff.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 23 years in a retail management role preferably in optical or customerfacing industries.
- Bachelors degree in Optometry Business Management or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Analytical abilities to monitor financial performance and make datadriven decisions.
- Knowledge of retail operations inventory management and sales reporting.
- Problemsolving skills to address customer complaints and noncompliance issues.
