Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Accountant cum Purchase Officer to join our team at Comfort IT Solutions. The ideal candidate will handle the companys financial activities ensure compliance with accounting standards and manage the procurement process to support our IT and ELV project operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Duties

  • Manage daytoday financial operations including accounts payable/receivable invoicing and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Handle WPS payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist in budgeting forecasting and cost control measures.
  • Coordinate with auditors for financial audits and resolve discrepancies.

Purchase Duties

  • Handle procurement activities for IT hardware software licenses and ELV equipment.
  • Research and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices payment terms and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
  • Coordinate with the sales and project teams to ensure timely procurement of materials for ongoing projects.
  • Monitor stock levels and plan inventory requirements.
  • Resolve any supply chain issues or delays that may impact project timelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and procurement preferably in the IT or ELV industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferrably Peachtree) and MS Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and regulatory compliance in Qatar.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with IT/ELV products and services is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: QAR2000.00 QAR2500.00 per month

Education:

  • Diploma (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounts: 1 year (Required)
  • Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)
  • IT/ELV projects: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • Hindi (Preferred)
  • English (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Qatar ID (Required)
