    Job Description:

    You will be responsible for the operation maintenance and monitoring of networks and servers as well as providing technical support for PCs.

    Job Overview: Projects will be assigned based on your experience and start date. You will often work with major companies with operational projects typically lasting several years. There are opportunities for involvement in data center relocations and technical support requests from hardware manufacturers. Depending on your experience you may also have the chance to advance to higherlevel tasks such as network and server design and construction.

    Example Projects:

    • Maintenance and operation of SaaSbased monitoring and backup services
    • Maintenance and support for Windows servers
    • Maintenance and operations for a banks core accounting systems including job creation in JP1/AJS
    • Operation and monitoring of government network systems using Zabbix and Nagios

    Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in one or more of the following are preferred:

    • Network or server operation maintenance or monitoring
    • Development experience (excluding experience as a tester or programmer only)
    • Help desk experience including firstline support
    • Technical support experience

    • In addition to the abovementioned experience candidates with vendor certifications such as CCNA or LPIC are preferred.
