Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic (2 Positions Available)
Location: San Marcos TX
Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
About Us: We are a rapidly growing diesel repair shop based in San Marcos TX specializing in servicing a wide range of vehicles and equipment from mediumduty private diesels to semitrucks trailers and heavy equipment. Our team prides itself on delivering toptier service and were looking for two motivated skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanics to join our crew.
Job Description:As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic youll be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining diesel engines trucks trailers and equipment at customer locations. This is a 1099 contractor position with flexible hours competitive pay and opportunities for commission based on business you bring into the shop. Youll have the option to work with or without your own truck with each arrangement offering unique earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite maintenance diagnostic work and repairs on diesel engines semitrucks trailers and heavy equipment.
- Provide highquality timely mobile services at customer locations.
- Identify additional repair opportunities and bring business into the shop earning commissions.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed.
- Ensure the mobile unit is clean organized and wellmaintained.
- Stay current on diesel technology and best repair practices.
- Collaborate with the shop team to maintain consistent service standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Mechanic Without Own Truck: $35/hour (1099 contractor).
- Mechanic With Own Truck: 100% commission on work performed with us providing all business. Mechanic retains 6575% in commissions. We cover the cost of parts paperwork and payment collection.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of diesel mechanic experience with expertise in semitrucks trailers and heavy equipment.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must have your own tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with diagnostic software and tools.
- Mechanics with their own trucks preferred; however support is available for those looking to purchase their own.
