Clinician Liaison Manager
Reports to CEO
Hours per week Full Time Position
Job purpose:
To attract and retain Consultants (Dermatology & Vascular) and Specialist Doctors and Nurse Practitioners to practice at The Dermatology Partnership clinics to match business demand and to meet budget expectations. To support HR with Doctor onboarding and processing practicing privileges applications.
Attracting new doctors:
The post is responsible for carrying out activities to attract new doctors in both existing and new locations:
Create and maintain database of all relevant doctors.
Carry out networking activities to attract new doctors.
Create marketing collateral to attract new doctors and sell the benefit of TDP clinics.
Identify CESR candidates and Coordinate CESR program activities.
Manage commercial and contractual negotiations.
Ensure that fees are aligned with existing clinic fee structures and budget expectations.
Support doctors in PMI applications.
Coordinate and liaise with doctors for the collation of all necessary documentation for a doctor to practice and maintain practicing privileges.
Support activities at Conferences & Events.
Retaining and growing existing doctors:
Organise networking and support CPD events amongst TDP clinicians.
Regular contact with Practice Managers and Consultants to ensure all doctors are happy at TDP
Gain insight into why they might be practicing at other clinics develop strategies for TDP to attract and retain new doctors.
Work with PM to gain extra sessions/days.
Manage discussions and agreements with doctors fees within budgetary constraints advise on improvements an rationalization of fee structures.
Support HR and finance in the selfemployment taxation issues relating to IR35
Facilitating Communication: Ensuring clear and effective communication between various stakeholders.
Managing Relationships: Building and maintaining professional relationships to achieve business goals.
Organisational
Attend Clinic Clinical team meetings support Practice Managers with Clinician related actions/issues.
Liaise at external meetings on behalf of TDP as required.
Manage unexpected situations as they arise including clinician staffing and equipment related issues.
Identify service delivery issues requirements or areas of underperformance and take the necessary action to resolve.
Ensure feedback systems are in place to enable planned delivery to be monitored and amended as necessary to support doctor revalidation.
Confidential Matters
Deal personally with any confidential matter about the Practice or Clinical Staff and reports to any official or professional body.
Ensure that all staff are aware of the importance of protecting any confidential information about patients doctors or colleagues.
Miscellaneous
Perform any duty specifically designated by the Senior Management team as being properly the responsibility of the Clinician Liaison Manager

Governance
The role holder will be responsible for any relevant auditing collating patient feedback for the purpose of doctor appraisal.
CQC fundamental standards to be understood and evidence provided to support the Chief Medical Officer if required.
Develop coordinate and review all practice policies relating to recruitment to ensure that the appropriate practices are in place to meet any PP application.
Always ensure that the Health & Safety of employees clients and contractors are paramount in all activities and be an advocate for Health & Safety within the business ensuring any risk assessments and training are up to date and implemented effectively.
