Description:
Senior Architect Technology Data Platform Modernization and Cloud Migration Consulting Mandate
We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect Data Platform to lead a critical consulting engagement aimed at modernizing our data platform facilitating a seamless cloud migration and establishing a foundation for advanced analytics. The consultant will be responsible for achieving the following key objectives:
Technical Skills
1. Establish Current Data Platform and amp; Technology Landscape
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing data architecture including data sources storage systems processing pipelines and analytics tools.
- Identify and document all data assets their relationships and data flows within the organization.
- Evaluate the current data governance policies security measures and compliance standards.
- Analyze the performance scalability and limitations of the existing data platform.
2. Create a Cloud Migration Plan
- Develop a detailed strategy for migrating the current data platform to a new Azure and Databricks Cloud Landing Zone.
- Identify which components should be lifted and shifted versus those requiring transformation.
- Design the target cloud architecture ensuring optimal use of Azure and Databricks services.
- Outline a phased migration approach minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
3. Establish Foundation for Insights Automation and AIdriven Analytics
- Design a scalable data architecture that supports advanced analytics and machine learning workloads.
- Implement data pipelines and processes to ensure highquality consistent data for AI/ML models.
- Integrate automated data preparation and feature engineering capabilities.
- Develop a framework for continuous model training deployment and monitoring.
- Create a strategy for implementing selfservice analytics and automated insights generation.
- Ensure the architecture supports realtime data processing and analysis for timely insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data architecture cloud migration projects and AI/ML implementations
- Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services Databricks platform and modern analytics tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and advanced analytics techniques
- Familiarity with data governance security best practices and AI ethics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
This consulting mandate requires a strategic thinker with handson technical expertise to guide our organization through a complex data platform modernization cloud migration and advanced analytics implementation journey. The successful consultant will play a crucial role in shaping our future data capabilities enabling advanced analytics and positioning us for success in the era of AIdriven decision making.
