Job Description
Job Title: ERP Business Functional Consultant
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6 month contract
Job Summary:
The candidates we have been getting are more business analysts from a data warehouse or infrastructure setting. We need someone who understands the business setting
We need someone who is good/comfortable with data (running queries) and SCRUM teams but we need people with the functional knowledge and someone who understands business concepts. Here are some examples of what we mean by functional knowledge
Experience in the following systems or business functions:
The business side of an organization Accounts Payable General Ledger Accounts Receivable **Order Management Utilities
Someone who understands how to setup a Customer in a system
- What is a customer and what are the attributes of a customer
- How do they make transactions get billed for their transactions and receive their products etc. (order to cash cycle)
- Experience with ERP systems (when we say Oracle we dont mean the Oracle database we mean the Oracle ERP)
- Business applications like Salesforce.com SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics etc.
- The candidate will need to be a bridge between the Business and the people doing the development (coding)
