Job Description
As a Impex Associate you support daytoday import and export execution ensure compliance to standards and support global initiatives for Trade and Customs enhancements.
Key responsibilities
- Administrate local import and export processes for commercial and NCG incl. Port to DC crosscountry DC moves and crossborder shipments (both store and online)
- Timely prepare and administrate entries for customs clearance and support compliance with global rules standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs
- Support opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategies this includes international transport matters such as shipment tracing monitoring freight invoicing and reviewing.
- Communicate with state customs and other reg. regulators on a daytoday operational basis
- Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirements
Qualifications :
To be successful in the role as Impex Associate you should have strong knowledge of import and export processes in region across all types of crossborder flows. You should have agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and create meaningful growth and ability to collaborate and cocreate with others
What you need to succeed:
- Understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for regional execution
- Overview on relevant regional market environment and crossborder trade relationships
- Knowledge of international forwarding
- Coordination skills and can do attitude to effectively resolve daytoday issues and drive smooth process support.
- Ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture
Additional Information :
This is a fulltime position reporting to the Impex Manager.
You will be based at Malaysia Distribution Centre.
