Job Description

Our client is a retail finance institution (Licensed by Central Bank of Nigeria) offering outstanding products and services to suit the financial requirements of all Nigerians. Due to expansion they are in need of a FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.

LOCATION:LAGOS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing monthend reports for management including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements

Developing financial models and cash flow projections

Reviewing the companys financial statements to ensure they are accurate

Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance

Forecasting future financial performance

Preparing and analyzing budgets and providing accurate financial reports to management

Ensuring compliance with government regulations

Financial risk management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field

Professional certification such as ICANACCA ACA or CFA is highly preferred

Experience in BANKONE & Finance with a minimum of five years in a similar role

Strong knowledge of Financial Statements Financial Reporting and Accounting principles

Excellent Analytical Skills

Strong computer skills including proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
