Job Description
This is a remote position.
Were seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecommerce Web Developer specializing in Shopify and WordPress platforms for a casual position. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in building and optimising ecommerce websites.
Requirements
- Proficient in HTML/CSS for creating clean structured and responsive web interfaces
- Strong JavaScript skills for implementing interactive and dynamic features
- Expert in PHP particularly for WordPress development including custom page templates and AJAX functions
- Mastery of Liquid Shopifys templating language for theme customization
- Indepth understanding of Shopify API and platform capabilities
- Extensive experience in WordPress development including custom themes and plugins
- Proficiency in integrating various payment gateways and shipping providers
- Familiarity with WooCommerce for WordPress ecommerce functionality
- Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration
- Experienced in thirdparty API integrations
- Skilled in creating responsive designs for various devices
- Strong analytical and creative problemsolving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization strategies
- Knowledge of web security best practices for protecting customer data
