We are seeking an experienced Emergency Services Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a team of skilled nurses dedicated to meeting the needs of the community. This role will involve collaborating with leaders in the Medical/Surgical and MotherBaby departments within a critical access hospital.
The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing developing and engaging staff on assigned unit(s) based on unit size. This role ensures that best practices are followed and that staff adhere to established policies and procedures.
This is an onsite position and relocation assistance is available on a casebycase basis subject to company approval.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet key performance goals including patient safety and satisfaction staff turnover productivity and expenses.
- Assign staff based on their skills to provide the best patient care and manage them during each shift. I work with the Nursing Manager and Staffing Office to determine how many staff members are needed.
- Mentor coach and help staff develop their skills and I follow action plans to improve their engagement. I also help resolve conflicts and guide staff if they do not meet clinical standards.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees and contribute to performance evaluations as assigned by the Nursing Manager.
- Engage with the patient care team during patient rounds to increase my visibility as a leader and provide support.
- Drive continuous improvement in the department by addressing patient satisfaction issues and complaints.
- Ensure that we follow all hospital regulations and develop implement and maintain necessary policies and procedures.
- Communicate program priorities and guidelines clearly to the team to ensure everyone provides a consistent patient experience and achieves the best outcomes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications:
- 3 years of nursing experience preferably in emergency nursing.
- Current Idaho RN License
- BLS certification
