Job Description
The Reading Frontier (RF for short) is an international education brand owned by Yuecheng
Education. It is a professional organization that promotes reading skills as a means of supporting
students 412 as they become inquirers of the world around them. We offer the afterschool
experience featuring in a personalized and explorative curriculum from the advanced
international education philosophy. Our goal is that through engagement in reading students
will achieve a deeper understanding of themselves their interests and the world around them.
We adopted inquirybased learning: Using a variety of reading materials we teach students how
to become inquirers. We want them to break through the boundaries of standard answers and
seek to satisfy their own curiosity. To achieve the goal of helping students know the world and
understand themselves we have designed six theme related reading experiences (See the World
Travel through Time and Space Understand Society Explore Science and Technology Enjoy Life
and Know Yourself) which will stimulate students personal interests in exploring the world. Our
reading course helps students develop reading strategy skills thinking skills and linguistic skills
through various reading and inquiry activities.
Through rigorous recruitment process RF ensure every teacher has excellent teaching and
language skills and receives professional teaching training from YueCheng Education Group. The
carefully designed learning and reading environment and the carefully selected books for the
library from renowned publishers around the world provide students enriched and engaging
reading experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Teach English reading curriculum to students aged 314 in small groups based on
established unit and lesson plans.
2.
Implement criterionbased assessment for both formative and assumptive assessment.3.
Ensure that curriculum and assessment are implemented according to the curriculum
4.
Maintain student progress files.
5.
Inform parents regularly of students progress.
6.
Maintain effective discipline in the classroom and ensure the safety and security of the
children at all times.
7.
Participate in social and marketing promotional activities.
8.
Participate in training seminars to enhance and develop professional teaching
Requirements
1. Native English speaker
2. B.A. or M.A. in Early childhood Education or equivalent
3. Internationally recognized teaching certification
4. Minimum 3 years teaching experience for early childhood teaching.
5. Experience in inquirybased and playbased learning
6. Ability to meet the learning needs of students acquiring English as a second language

WORKING HOURS
Wednesday 11:0020:00 (including 1 hour lunch break)
Thursday to Friday: 13:0020:00;
Saturday to Sunday: 8:3018:00 (including 1 Hour lunch break)
