Manager Global AP Technical Operations

Position Overview:

The Manager Global Accounts Payable Technical Operations will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset technical expertise and a deep curiosity for endtoend process optimization. This individual will support SAP and ProcuretoPay (P2P) applications and workflows excels in a fastpaced customercentric environment and has a demonstrated history in change management and process standardization.

Reporting to the Director of Technical Projects this position collaborates closely with IT ProcuretoPay Operations and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners and is part of the Program Planning Execution & Change Management Center of Excellence (COE). This role supports all subprocesses within Accounts Payable (AP).

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Maintain a deep understanding of NBCUs ProcuretoPay control framework and processes.
• Ensure ProcuretoPay applications and enhancements comply with controls and standards.
• Provide operational and technical support for ProcuretoPay function including vendor data maintenance invoice processing disbursements and Help Desk operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within all Global Finance Operations (GFO) ProcuretoPay tools and technology.
• Act as a liaison with IT and Global Finance Operations (GFO) teams to address technical ProcuretoPay issues.
• Serve as a key member of strategic projects defining business requirements assisting with design conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and developing training materials.
• Lead targeted postgolive sessions and support users with new or modified processes and technology (hypercare sessions)
• Partner with IT on businessasusual technical needs and modifications.
• Collaborate with project teams on automation opportunities supporting design UAT and business requirements.
• Oversee the technical setup workflow routing and support of NBCUs ProcuretoPay approval matrix.
• Manage the process for ProcuretoPays new company code creation including data gathering technical updates workflow modifications and UAT.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead operational improvement initiatives and provide recommendations to the Global Process Owner for process and technology improvements.
• Contribute to the multiyear Transformation Roadmap focused on process globalization standardization and automation to drive efficiency improvements yearoveryear.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaborative relationships with NBCU Finance and key functional groups (e.g. Tax Treasury Audit IT Sourcing and Compliance).
• Understand system architecture including ERP systems addons enablers and interfaces with the ability to troubleshoot and conduct data analysis.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: BA/BS in Accounting Finance IT or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a technical ProcuretoPay environment within a global organization; consulting experience preferred.

Desired Characteristics:

• Knowledge of global accounting controls procurement vendor management invoice processing payments tax reporting treasury and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP software particularly SAP and familiarity with Procurement and AP systems and interfaces.
• Background in the entertainment industry is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Selfmotivated and able to consistently deliver highquality work with minimal oversight.
• Strong technical abilities with demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting ProcuretoPay applications and workflows.
•  Working knowledge of enterprisewide systems for requisition purchasing payments and accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills including the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and with customers.
• Proven ability to lead and adapt within a dynamic evolving environment.
