Job Description

Were looking for an Englishspeaking Customer Support Associate to join our team in Budapest. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wises mission in helping our customers have a great experience when using Wise.

Your mission:

Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hardearned money with the worlds first platform to offer true multicurrency banking. Your mission is to help customers have the best experience possible with our product working across email phone and chat.

Heres how youll be contributing to the Customer Support team:
                             

  • Help customers have the best experience possible with our product by showing empathy and patience and being resilient when needed.
  • Support customers by communicating with them via emails and phone calls and chats.
  • Demonstrate flexibility! Youll be covering a variety of shifts we work when our customers need us the most including early mornings day times afternoons late evenings weekends and public holidays as per business demand. PS! We make our schedules in advance so youll be able to plan your time accordingly
  • Go above and beyond the call of duty: solve problems working together with other teams.
  • Grow through mentoring and working with other teams developing your skills and figuring out how to have an impact on our customers.

Qualifications :

  • Youre located already in Budapest Hungary this isnt a remote job
  • Must be legally authorised to work in Hungary we are unable to support new work Visa for this role

  • Youre ready to work full time (40h per week). This is not a parttime job opportunity and we cannot be flexible with this

  • Are willing to work from the office as well (please note that during your probation period (3 months) youll need to work in our Budapest office for 5 days a week).

  • Your verbal and written English skills are excellent communicating difficult concepts in an easy to understand way comes naturally to you (C1 level English).

  • Youre flexible and adaptable open to working days evenings and weekend shifts as well as public holidays

  • Youre cool under pressure taking charge in challenging situations and keeping your composure if things get tense

  • Youre able to work in a fastpaced everchanging environment you understand that change is needed to both grow and learn but also work more efficiently

  • Youre a teamplayer and understand that having a great working culture is everyones responsibility. You treat everyone with respect and always give a helping hand and you let our values guide you
