About the Role:
As a Care Professional with Home Instead Charnwood you will play a crucial role in supporting older adults in your community. Youll provide personalised care and companionship helping clients maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes. Your duties will vary based on each clients needs but may include:
- Assisting with personal care such as bathing dressing and grooming
- Supporting clients with medication reminders and meal preparation
- Helping with household tasks such as cleaning laundry and shopping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a clients health or wellbeing
Qualifications :
Key Requirements:
- Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients families and team members
- Flexibility and good availability to cover various shifts including weekends and evenings
- Ability to build strong trusting relationships with clients
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Previous experience in a care setting is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
- Clear communication skills with fluent English and knowledge of the local area.
