Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield United Kingdom. This role involves providing essential support to our clients during evening hours on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. As a Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing dressing and grooming
- Provide medication reminders and support with prescribed treatments
- Prepare and serve meals ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities when required
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behaviour to supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols
Benefits Include:
- Hourly rates 12.00per hour (averaging 14.00 with benefits)
- Higher rates for evenings and weekends.
- Paid travel time between client visits (some restrictions apply)
- Paid travel expenses 0.30 0.45/per mile.
- Paid full rate when undertaking all training inhouse or elearning
- Minimum 1hour visits.

Qualifications :
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
- Must reside locally and within our franchise area
- Must be prepared to cover weekend working on alternate weekends
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK we cannot at the moment offer sponsorship or additional hours if being sponsored.
Additional Information :
We are also interested in LiveIn care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
