Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Care Assistant:
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning laundry and tidying.
- Make or assist to make your clients favourite meals.
- Offer companionship and social support engaging with your clients hobbies and getting to know them.
- Support with personal care tasks such as showering washing hair and getting changed.
- Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops or a caf.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones offering firstrate care and comfort.
- Write accurate daily notes keeping up strong communication with the office.
- Administer medication and record appropriately.
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive inhouse training. However any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
- You must have a full drivers licence and dependable transportation for various duties.
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- Must have a caring friendly personality.
