Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Wakefield United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our clients daily lives ensuring their comfort safety and wellbeing.
You will support clients with:
- Personal care tasks
- Medication
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Shopping
- General companionship and wellbeing
- Taking clients to medical appointments
Qualifications :
- Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Previous experience in the care sector is desirable but not required as full training will be provided
- Willingness to undertake relevant qualifications in health and social care
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Respect for client privacy and confidentiality
