Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Bath United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care mobility and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients engaging them in conversations and activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients physical or mental health to the care team
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Adapt to clients individual needs and preferences promoting their independence and dignity
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies or unexpected situations
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance care skills and knowledge
Qualifications :
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience understanding and ability to work with diverse personalities and needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Flexibility to work early mornings late evenings and weekends as required.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to care standards
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm under pressure
- Full training is given regardless of experience.
Additional Information :
- We pay between 13.00 to 28.00 a hour.
- Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits
- Paid mileage with payments matched to current fuel prices.
- Paid onboarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate NVQ diplomas.
- Paid holiday
- Regular working pattern with 1 hour minimum visits to regular clients.
- Out of hours support from the Office team
