Job Description

The role

Checkout.com are actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sales Director (Individual contributor) to join our Commercial Team in London to drive rapid growth across all verticals focussing on enterprise businesses.

If you are a highly motivated salesperson with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of selling cutting edge payment solutions in a highgrowth environment we are keen to hear from you. 

You will generate net new business orchestrating the entire sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders.

Along the way youll collaborate closely with various inhouse teams across Technology and Product to position our capabilities products services and solutions effectively with prospects.

How youll make an impact

  • Identify the most promising merchants and prospects and grow a healthy pipeline across various verticals
  • Sell our new crossborders payment solutions and services to eCommerce merchants through outbound techniques
  • Help new merchants evaluate Checkout.com and handle detailed questions about our product capabilities serving as a consultant and industry expert
  • Prepare thorough presentations and proposals for prospective merchants
  • Partner with other Sales team members to share best practices key business insights and industry trends
  • Provide feedback on local trends including competitor insights customer needs sales product and marketing information

Qualifications :

What were looking for

  • 8 years Sales experience with at least 5 years of payments experience
  • Demonstrated the ability to negotiate complex deals for net new business
  • Ability to navigate complexity and create clarity out of ambiguity
  • Self motivated and highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs
  • Creativity and problem solving
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for Technology
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Strong network of potential prospects and partners
