Events Sales Executive
28k per annum (Monday Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm)
Plus a generous bonus paid 6 monthly

If so we may have just the job for you working in our events team at our awardwinning events and leisure facility on the edge of Luton.
Venue 360 is one of the largest independent leisure and hospitality Venues in Bedfordshire. Our Riverside events venue has a capacity to hold 450 delegates with our balcony caf bar accommodating up to 250 guests and Juniper room 60 delegates. This is an exciting time to join an established and growing business with a mixture of leisure and corporate clientele.
We are looking for an experienced Events Sales Executive with a good understanding and passion for the Hospitality industry. You must be a professional and personable individual who is totally sales driven and with excellent relationship building skills. You will need to be confident sociable with a cando positive attitude.
Qualities and skills:
Possess strong persuasive skills and be confident with negotiations.
Excellent knowledge and experience of IT events diary management system.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Outstanding communication skills are key to ensure a smooth transition of events information to the service team.
Proactively lead source from various mediums.
Maintain and develop a sales database including record of key contacts and sales communication.
Maximise all potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targets.
Highly organised with excellent eye for detail.
Design sales pitches and adapt the offer to suit various types of clients.
Issue contracts including proforma invoice deposit and cancellation conditions.
