This role can be based at West Burton Nottinghamshire
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference on a global scale Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy as Project Manager in the field of fusion energy. In this role you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Build Environment project. Characterising and preparing the site for major construction and the submission of the DCO. This role involves guiding the supporting the Senior team and the Assistant Project Manager ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and managing highlevel stakeholder relationships.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans schedules and timelines.
- Coordinate project activities ensuring alignment with STEP objectives and timelines.
- Ensure the preparation and maintenance of project documentation and records.
- Ensure all aspects of the NEC4 contracts are administered in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations by all parties involved.
- Maintain accurate records of all contractrelated documentation communications and transactions.
- Ensuring excellent HSE performance on all projects.
- Resolving obstacles to project delivery and leading the identification and employment of creative solutions to overcoming them
- Reporting of progress against milestones changes exceptions budgets and other key performance indicators.
- Effective project risk and change management.
Qualifications :
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience in senior project management roles within the energy sector or a related field.
- Ability to understand complex engineering concepts make informed decisions and effectively communicate project goals expectations and updates to both technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering largescale complex projects.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Advanced financial and resource management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
Desirable Requirement:
- Prior experience with Sensat or similar digital platforms.
- Background in engineering construction or a related field.
- Familiarity with the UK regulatory environment and standards for largescale projects.
- Advanced certifications in project management such as PMP or PRINCE2
