Job Summary:
Family Group Conferences (FGC) are a facilitated family meeting with a child s family to make plans and decisions to help children have their needs met within their family network. An adaption of FGC is the Lifelong Links are interventions which aim to support and strengthen social relationships for children in care and care leavers.
Southwark s FGC Service needs a Project Officer who will be central to the daytoday operations of the FGC Service (2days) and Lifelong Links Team (3days) and will work closely with the FGC Lead and Lifelong Links Team Manager to ensure that there is effective support for and oversight of the Service.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
Upload FGC and Lifelong Links Plans (and other relevant information) onto the children s Mosaic files
Maintain up to date Excel spreadsheets for all FGC and Lifelong Links cases
Update and maintain FGC and Lifelong Links data collating and tracking performance and outcomes
Ensure there is effective support for the FGC Service and Lifelong Links Team including selfemployed FGC and Lifelong Links Coordinators
Complete deep file searches on Mosaic for each child or young person referred for a Lifelong Links intervention
Develop and build genograms using Genopro
Compile and edit Journey Books
Coordinate and facilitate work of various steering / practice development groups across the FGC Service (including the work of the Family Council) ensuring that they function appropriately records are kept and actions delivered
Be a key point of contact in matters relating to administration duties and responsible for disseminating internal and external information on behalf of the FGC Service and Lifelong Links Team

To undertake any other duties appropriate to the post and grade.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience of Excel and ability to effectively maintain data spreadsheets is essential.
Experience of Mosaic desired and ability to efficiently upload information onto electronic files is essential.
Essential Qualification Required:
General education qualification is essential.

Working hours: 36 hours a week.
