Job Description
As a Collection and Delivery Driver for DPD you will serve as a crucial point of contact for our customers. Your role is essential in upholding our commitment to exceptional service and timely parcel handling. This position demands a valid C1 licence DQC and CPC along with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar capacity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commence daily operations at the depot assisting with the systematic loading of parcels.
- Execute a predetermined delivery and collection schedule typically encompassing 5060 stops within the designated area.
- Utilise provided equipment such as the sack barrow/hand truck to safely manage heavier items.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and efficiency in all customer interactions.
- Adhere strictly to delivery timeframes and company protocols.
- Demonstrate adaptability in managing route changes and addressing unforeseen circumstances.
- Ensure the proper handling and security of all parcels throughout the collection and delivery process.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation and reporting as required by company standards.
- Uphold DPDs reputation through exemplary conduct and appearance at all times.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
This role is integral to DPDs operations directly impacting customer satisfaction and company performance.
Qualifications :

A valid 7.5T (C1) licence DQC (Driver Qualification Card) and CPC accreditation
