Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operational Resilience and Cyber Security Specialist to join a market focused organisation. This role combines expertise in operational resilience with strong knowledge of cybersecurity to ensure that critical services are protected adaptable and recoverable in the face of disruptions. You will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and maintaining frameworks and strategies that safeguard our operations against cyber threats and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational resilience frameworks policies and procedures.
Identify critical business services and assess their dependencies risks and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate operational resilience with threat management and response strategies.
Perform risk assessments business impact analyses and scenario testing to evaluate resilience capabilities.
Support the development and testing of incident response disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Monitor and respond to cyber threats that could impact operational resilience.
Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as e.g. NIST ISO 22301 GDPR DORA.
Provide training and awareness programs on operational resilience and cybersecurity best practices.
Produce detailed reports and dashboards to communicate resilience metrics risks and incidents to senior leadership.
Stay updated on emerging threats technologies and regulatory changes related to operational resilience and cybersecurity.
Requirements:
Essential:
Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity IT Risk Management or a related field.
Strong understanding of operational resilience principles including business continuity and disaster recovery.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks tools and technologies.
Experience conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 27001 ISO 22301 NIST GDPR DORA).
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable:
Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM CBCP or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.
Experience with cyber incident response and recovery.
Proficiency in resilience testing and simulations (e.g. stress testing tabletop exercises).
Familiarity with cloud environments data protection and thirdparty risk management.
Experience in regulated industries such as finance healthcare or energy.
