Job Description
As a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD you will serve as a crucial point of contact for our customers. Your role is vital in upholding our commitment to exceptional service and timely parcel handling. This position demands a high level of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commence daily operations at the depot assisting with the systematic loading of parcels.
- Execute a predetermined delivery and collection schedule typically encompassing 5060 stops within the designated area.
- Utilise provided equipment such as the Sack Barrow/Hand Truck to safely manage heavier items.
- Adhere strictly to timesensitive schedules for both collections and deliveries.
- Maintain a professional demeanour at all times recognising your role as a representative of DPD.
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of all parcels prioritising both timeliness and care.
- Demonstrate problemsolving skills to address any logistical challenges that may arise during your route.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service understanding the critical nature of your interactions with clients.
This role requires a valid C1 licence Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar capacity is essential.
