Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Human Resources

The Country Coordinator Support (also called Organization & Finance Support within LP4Y) will support the Country Coordinator in terms of human resourcesrelated topics. 

  • He/She supports the recruitment of local volunteers
  • He/She is in charge of the management and follow up of Egyptian volunteers contracts on the field
  • He/She will be responsible for the payslip given each month to the national volunteers
  • He/She is in charge of the visa processes of the international volunteers on the field (insurance renewal immigration documents etc.).
  • He/She sends guidelines to volunteers checks if HR documents are correctly filled provides support if volunteers face issues.
  • He/She is in direct contact with the insurance company in Egypt

 

2. Administration 

The Coordinator Support will regularly assist the team to ensure that all necessary documents/reports are being kept and being monitored.

  • He/She verifies bills to ensure they are in accordance with LP4Ys policies. 
  • He/She will coordinate and gather information for accreditation purposes.
  • He/She will be conducted to interact with multiple actors (volunteers owners accountant public agencies banks)
  • He/She actively participates in the regular reports/updates of the documents.

 

3. Finance

The Coordinator Support will monthly assist the Country Coordinator in finalizing the budget for each center.

  • In charge of controlling bookkeeping and producing the financial reports for the expenses of Egypt (SAGA accounting software)
  • He/She will be required to move at least once a month for check deposits and administrative papers
  • He/She is in direct contact with our accountant in Egypt
  • Reconcile our expenses and transfers with our bank accounts

 


Qualifications :

  • At least 24 years old
  • Fluent in Arabic and English 
  • Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated
  • Bachelor in Human Ressources or Administration would be appreciated
  • Good knowledge in MS office (word excel drive email)
  • Professional behavior rigorous
  • Ability to work in a team (team spirit) especially with intercultural members
  • Motivated and proactive profile who like challenges
  • Ready to learn and grow
  • Volunteer spirit in LP4Y we all are volunteers. We work together and live together in the same building so having this positive dedicated mindset is really key. We need people that are autonomous and proactive 

 


Additional Information :

Location:

  • Cairo Ezbet el Nakhl 

Benefits

  • Allowance: 12 500 EGP/month (fixed for the first year of contract)
  • Housing is provided (and mandatory)  free accommodation each volunteer has her own room with fans 
  • Basic food included
  • Health Insurance covered
  • LP4Y will take charge of your expenses if you need to travel (to Lebanon for example) as and when required for project purpose

Working Schedule:

  • Working time :  about 40h/week
  • Work days : Sunday to Thursday based on 8 hours/day
  • Holidays : 2 days / month 8 days blank holidays
