Job Description
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- With instruction/direction assist higherlevel Construction/ Maintenance mechanics in providing Construction/Maintenance support to various Company Departments by performing basic labor tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to: General cleaning assisting other crews as required maintaining safety housekeeping sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.
Qualifications :
- Have basic hand tool knowledge such as hammer screwdriver pliers tape measure wire strippers etc.
- Prior Maintenance and/or carpentry/plumbing/fabrication and/or electrical knowledge preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have good communication (English) skills.
- Have ability to learn and follow lockout tag out procedures.
- Must be able to complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work from a ladder and on high altitudes including chicken house roofs.
- Must be able to work overtime weekends and holidays and job assignments as necessary.
- Must be able to follow company standards guidelines and policies including but not limited to safety animal welfare and production standards.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work at various job site locations.
