Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Procurment Engineer (Saudi National) to join Tamkeen Program in Parsons!

What You'll Be Doing

Learns and Performs a variety of procurement engineering duties by applying basic procurement and engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. The Engineer at this level is in a developmental mode, being trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.
Procurement Planning and Strategy
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project specifications and technical requirements.
Vendor Identification: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet technical and commercial criteria.
Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Vendor Management
Supplier Evaluation: Conduct pre-qualification assessments, audits, and evaluations of potential suppliers.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
Cost and Quality Control
Budget Management: Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets and financial constraints.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards and technical specifications.
Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
Procurement Execution
Purchase Orders: Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions and project requirements.
Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Problem Resolution: Address delivery delays, quality issues, or other procurement-related challenges.
Documentation and Reporting
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, supplier data, and performance reports.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on procurement status, cost variances, and supplier performance to stakeholders.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and typically 0+ years of related work experience.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and materials.
Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics.
Soft Skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
