Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking Frontend Engineer (Typescript React Frontend) bto join our team.
Responsiblities:
- Contribute to frontend development tooling webplatform and API design.
- Design beautiful and thoughtful user interfaces and flows.
- Run usercentric design reviews with a focus on clinical research and healthcare users.
- Create frontend component libraries which underpin expressive visualisations of complex probabilistic and quantitative outputs.
- Collaborate closely with machine learning scientists data engineers and clinicians to deliver on new projects.
- Integrate novel engineering and design work into our biomarker platform.
- Make critical front end design decisions taking into account user requirements and scale (e.g. rendering and user annotation of ultrahigh resolution wholeslideimages).
- Develop and implement these new design components interfaces and tools through internal / external collaboration.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience building frontend technology and designing user interfaces.
- Proficient in TypeScript React or equivalent core frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Experience in front end / UX / UI engineering development and design or equivalent portfolio of work/projects.
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms databases and APIs.
- Experience working both independently and as a part of a team environment.
Nice to have:
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience in science engineering and design.
- Experience with Data Visualisation in a biology or clinical context.
- Experience with our chosen flavour techstack (NextJS Tailwind Vercel D3 Prisma).
- Familiarity with modern machine learning and AI methods.
- Experience working with image data.
- Experience working with scientists and data engineers on visual features.
