Summary: We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in paper coating to join our dynamic team. This role provides technical leadership and support while driving improvements in safety quality productivity and cost efficiency. The Process Engineer will play a key role in optimizing production processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support process improvement projects involving chemicals mechanical enhancements and technology trials.
Troubleshoot and problemsolve production issues related to paper machines and coating processes.
Identify and implement process optimizations to improve quality productivity and cost reduction.
Act as a change agent to promote continuous improvement through root cause analysis and effective problemsolving techniques.
Analyze downtime data and develop strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
Conduct testing and coordinate trials for process improvements and quality enhancement initiatives.
Collaborate with vendors and production teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
Review and analyze daily production data identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
Provide datadriven insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).
Minimum of 25 years of experience in the paper manufacturing industry with direct exposure to paper coating processes.
Strong technical expertise in process optimization quality improvement and production support.
Proven ability to lead projects drive results and influence crossfunctional teams.
Selfstarter with a proactive approach and excellent problemsolving skills.
