The Law Enforcement Liaison will play a pivotal role in enhancing Expeditors ability to respond to and prevent cargo theft both domestically and internationally. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with local law enforcement agencies customers and security industry leaders to support proactive and reactive security measures. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills deep knowledge of security protocols and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to drive effective security strategies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with local state and federal law enforcement to aid in theft prevention and recovery.
- Establish connections with security industry leaders and relevant associations to strengthen Expeditors security network.
- Represent Expeditors security perspective during sales calls and customer onboarding.
- Maintain close collaboration with Expeditors security team to align efforts and share best practices.
- Work with product and service leaders to develop an overarching security strategy and customerspecific processes.
Strategy and Operational Oversight
- Recommend solutions for customerspecific use cases and review customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Advise the Command Center on operating procedures consistent with recognized industry standards including The Monitoring Association (TMA) and Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA).
- Direct the Command Centers role in 24/7 Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) response.
- Manage response and recovery vendor partners including Global Watch and Assist Cargo.
- Support training programs and exercises for monitoring teams to ensure preparedness and adherence to industry standards.
Incident Response and Customer Support
- Respond to verified security incidents and lead response and recovery operations.
- Review security incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Run regular reporting on security monitoring performance and provide actionable insights.
- Act as the account owner for highsecurity customers ensuring their needs are met and their assets are protected.
- Create and manage carrier scorecards to help customers effectively evaluate and manage their carriers.

Reporting Structure
The Security Enforcement Liaison reports directly to the Services Manager.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in security operations law enforcement or related fields.
- Strong understanding of security standards and protocols including TMA and TAPA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required to support security operations and build relationships.

Expected hourly pay: $48.00 $72.00
