Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team specializing in Continental Cuisine. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking continental dishes maintaining high standards of food quality and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen. As a Demi Chef de Partie you will work under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef and assist in leading kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare and cook Continental cuisine dishes according to standard recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure the presentation and quality of food meet the highest standards.
- Assist in the creation of new dishes providing input for seasonal menu changes.

Kitchen Organization and Hygiene:
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean organized and safe at all times.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ensure that stock is rotated and managed effectively.

Supervision and Teamwork:
- Assist in supervising junior kitchen staff and help with training and development.
- Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to the culinary standards and work as a team.
- Step in to take charge when the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef is unavailable.

Quality Control:
- Monitor the quality and consistency of food prepared making adjustments where necessary.
- Ensure all food is served at the correct temperature and in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Compliance and Cost Control:
- Assist in controlling food wastage and managing kitchen expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and hygiene regulations.

- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
