ServiceNow background thats expansive from ITSM to CSM HRSD etc. Can get in the weeds/talk to talk but wont need to come from a dev background.
Experience/knowledge of CMDB
Can break down stories
Understands acceptance criteria
Can walk along with architects to drive solutions

Position Summary:
Client is seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Product Owner to support and enhance the ServiceNow platform as the team builds out key deliverables for 2024 and beyond. This role will focus on improving the teams sprint planning user story development and backlog management while aligning with Ultas disciplined product ownership framework.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of ServiceNow and agile processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Manager and other stakeholders to define and manage the product vision roadmap and priorities for Ulta Beautys ServiceNow platform.
Support and improve agile processes by assisting with sprint planning backlog grooming and prioritization to meet critical milestones and deliverables.
Write and refine user stories ensuring clear acceptance criteria are defined and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Partner with the team to break down work into actionable tasks and manage sprint execution ensuring alignment with Ulta Beautys disciplined approach to product ownership.
Collaborate with the agile teams to deliver highquality scalable solutions.
Work closely with the CMDB team to ensure a comprehensive inventory of hardware and software supporting patching processes and infrastructure management.
Ensure readiness for major deliverables such as the migration from Cherwell to ServiceNow and assist in knowledge base article preparation and milestones leading into May.
Serve as the key liaison for prioritization across ITSM CSM and other modules within the ServiceNow platform.
Provide guidance and support to the team in the absence of a release lead or tester.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Product Owner with a focus on ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies including sprint planning backlog grooming and user story development.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and thirdparty vendors.
Experience managing CMDB processes workflows and other integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
Excellent communication prioritization and leadership skills with the ability to drive team alignment.
Familiarity with ITSM HR and Finance processes and how they align with ServiceNow.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified System Administrator Certified Implementation Specialist) are strongly preferred.
