Job Description

Required Qualifications: 
Minimum of 4 years (3 with a MS in Computer Science) experience in Java development
Minimum of 3 years experience in J2EE (e.g. EJB JSP hibernate/JPA Servlets Portlets)
Minimum of 3 years experience in FileNet (preferably 4.X or higher)
Experience with database access technologies (e.g. SQL) including DB2 and Oracle
Familiarity with client side UI technologies (e.g. HTMLCSS Ajax/Dojo JavaScript)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team 
Experience with the SDLC (Plan Define Design etc.) in order to work outside of Agile where necessary. This will help at times when capturing/translating business needs (into technical capabilities and requirements etc.) 
 
Desired Qualifications: 
Familiarity with UML (unified modeling language)
Familiarity with software management methodologies (e.g. RUP Agile DevelopmentScrum Kanban)
Familiarity with software engineering design patterns and best practices
Familiarity with community frameworks (e.g. Spring Struts Hibernate)
Familiarity with software configuration management tools 
 
Education Required: 
Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline or similar life skills and acquired experience.
