Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists for the delivery of quality care to patients for a facility in Brenham Texas. The Speech Language Pathologists will assess diagnose treat and help prevent communication and swallowing disorders as well as Work with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow to prevent choking under the supervision of the Clinical Director.

Requirements:
Master s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Current and unrestricted license to practice Speech Language Pathology with the State of Texas through TDLR.
Current CPR/BCLS certification.
Educated and compliant with all HIPPA regulations; maintains strict client confidentiality.
Must be willing to work at a mental health facility with patients that may have a dual diagnosis.
Must abide by the rules regulations and policies of the facility and must abide by staffing agency and facility attendance and leave policy
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
COVID19 testing with negative result required & COVID19 Vaccination Card if applicable
Must submit to the facility required drug test and required fingerprinting and background check
Must complete applicable agency & facility required training
Responsibilities:
Completes comprehensive of assessment of speech language and swallowing function and collaborates with the patient s interdisciplinary team (IDT)/attending physician leading to establish a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Performs periodic reevaluation as necessary and makes adjustments in the treatment plan as needed in accordance with the patients goals and the physician s orders.
Completes clear and concise documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) that is appropriate to level of care patient required and addresses referrals as appropriate.
Complies with HHSC and facility documentation timeframe requirements.
Provides and monitors facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for compliance with accrediting agencies; specifically ICFID CMS Standards BSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards and Rules and Directives.
