Job Description
Job Title: SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP)
Facility: Providence St. Jude Medical Center
Address: 101 E Valencia Mesa Dr Fullerton CA 92835 United States
Contract: 13 weeks (Extension based on performance and facility needs)
Shift: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $75/hr on W2 or $80/hr on 1099
Job Description:
Providence St. Jude Medical Center is seeking an experienced SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to provide highquality care for both pediatric and adult patients. The ideal candidate must have experience treating a wide range of diagnoses including autism articulation disorders cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) Parkinsons disease cancer and aphasia.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders in pediatric and adult patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Work with interdisciplinary teams including physicians therapists and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and progress expectations
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in EPIC electronic medical records system
- Provide services in a teaching hospital environment collaborating with medical residents and students when applicable
Requirements:
- Active California SLP license (Pending license not accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP in a clinical setting
- Experience with both pediatric and adult patient populations required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- CCCSLP certification required
- LSVT certification preferred
