You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailYou will support the overall Front Office operation of the hotel to maximize guest satisfaction, team member performance and business results. Your key duties and responsibilities are to to receive and give a warm welcome to our guests, provide an efficient and courteous approach at all times.
1. Guest Greeting and Reception
Warm Welcome: Greet all guests with a friendly, professional demeanor as they enter the lobby, creating a positive first impression.
Assist with Check-In: In some settings, the lobby hostess may assist guests with the check-in process or direct them to the relevant check-in desk or personnel (e.g., at a hotel front desk).
Directing Guests: Direct guests to various hotel facilities, such as the restaurant, lounges, elevators, and other departments.
2. Customer Service and Guest Assistance
Answer Questions: Provide guests with information about the establishment, its services, local attractions, or directions.
Resolve Issues: Address guest concerns, complaints, or special requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Provide Comfort: Offer a comfortable waiting area for guests, ensuring they are settled and assisted as necessary.
3. Reservations and Seating Management (in Restaurants or Hotels)
Manage Reservations: Keep track of reservation lists, seating arrangements, and guest preferences, ensuring that guests are seated promptly at available tables.
Handling Waitlists: In case of a wait, manage the guest waitlist by noting guest names, the estimated wait time, and ensuring guests are informed of their status.
Special Requests: Note and communicate any special seating preferences or requirements (e.g., high chairs, specific views, private rooms).
4. Monitoring Lobby and Common Areas
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and waiting areas, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and comfort of guests in the lobby area by alerting security or management of any concerns (e.g., disturbances, suspicious behavior).
Monitoring Guest Flow: Observe the flow of guests and adjust as needed to ensure the space isn’t overcrowded and that guests are efficiently managed.
Previous experience in Front Office operation in the Hotel
Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
Excellent guest service skills
Excellent English skills
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for greeting guests, answering questions, and interacting with team members.
Friendly and Professional Demeanor: The ability to remain calm, composed, and welcoming in all interactions.

Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with reservation software, phone systems, and general office tools.
Appearance and Grooming: Professional appearance and grooming, as lobby hostesses are often the first point of contact for guests.
