Job Description

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures to assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care. Primary patient populations: CV 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting medication systems etc.) Primary procedures completed are orthopedics plastic surgery and ENT (pediatric and adult). Systems used: Zimmer Depuy Biomet and Striker total replacements. Experience in at least one of these systems is required. 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Minimum 2 years CVOR experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT CRT BLS ACLS etc) BLS. Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins. 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so how often Are weekends required)n open to late shift or 10 hour shifts 6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so to which units/departments) Potentially floating to other ORs. 7. Bed size/number of rooms/daily specimen/procedure count for this unit/dept. 30 ORs 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) NA 9. Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided by organization. 10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Provide up to 1 week of orientation but extend contract by 1 week. Ex. 12 week contract 1 week of orientation 12 actual weeks of working 13 weeks total.

Comments:8 or 10 hour shifts. Stay late as needed to assist with scheduled cases this time of not considered Call Back but an extension of regular shift. Call 1 to 2 shifts per week and every 3rd or 4th weekend. Cannot take any travelers living within a 60 mile radius of the facility. Local travel rate for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility (client rate will be reduced by xx8.00 for those travelers).

Position Requirements: Name of Position Requirements 2 years CVOR Experience BLS must be AHA ND UAP (willing to get) Does your candidate require time off during assignment If yes please list in comments Experience working in a large hospital or level 1 trauma center Experience with robotics
