Job Title: Epic Systems Analyst (Healthcare IT) (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities: - Lead or assist in the implementation of Epic systems across various healthcare departments (e.g. EpicCare Cadence ClinDoc etc.).
- Configure Epic modules to meet user needs and organizational requirements ensuring systems are set up according to best practices.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including clinical operational and IT teams to gather and document requirements.
- Conduct system analysis and testing to ensure Epic modules are performing optimally.
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes.
- Perform regular system upgrades and patches ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Provide training and support to endusers including clinical staff physicians and administrative teams on Epic systems functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime.
- Create and maintain training materials and documentation for Epic systems and workflows.
- Manage or contribute to various Epic implementation projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute test plans for system changes upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure that all changes to Epic systems are thoroughly tested for functionality performance and integration with other systems.
- Work closely with IT teams vendors and other stakeholders to resolve system issues and implement new features.
- Ensure that all Epicrelated processes comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with Epic Systems (specific Epic modules may be required depending on the role).
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in the healthcare IT industry particularly in EHR implementation or support.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
- Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic modules (e.g. EpicCare Cadence ClinDoc etc.).
- Certification in IT project management or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Epic Systems and related software applications.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with data analysis reporting and process improvement methodologies.
- This position may require occasional travel to healthcare facilities or remote locations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends based on project timelines or system maintenance schedules.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
