SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Pharmacy Services team. The ideal candidate will work closely with crossfunctional teams to analyze design and implement technology solutions that enhance business processes and systems for our pharmacy operations. The Business Systems Analyst will ensure that pharmacy systems are optimized to meet business goals improve operational efficiencies and comply with regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Analysis & Design:
Collaborate with business stakeholders pharmacy leadership and technical teams to define system requirements using Agile methodologies.
Create and prioritize user stories based on business needs ensuring they are clear actionable and aligned with project goals.
Analyze existing pharmacy systems and workflows to identify opportunities for improvements or system enhancements.
Design and implement system solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy services in an iterative Agile framework.
Participate in defining project backlogs ensuring that tasks are properly scoped prioritized and executed within each sprint.
Business Process Improvement:
- Work with pharmacy leadership and staff to streamline workflows optimize system performance and reduce inefficiencies in the delivery of pharmacy services.
- Develop detailed process maps documentation and user guides to support business operations.
- Recommend and implement process automation solutions that improve service delivery reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work with pharmacy teams to streamline workflows optimize system performance and reduce inefficiencies through continuous Agile sprints.
- Create and maintain detailed process maps and documentation to support business operations using Agile principles for iterative feedback and improvements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups retrospectives and backlog grooming to ensure alignment with project goals.
System Integration & Implementation:
- Oversee the integration of new software tools and technologies into existing pharmacy systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure successful system configurations testing and deployment.
- Participate in the creation of project plans timelines and milestones for new system implementations or upgrades.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Define data requirements and support the development of reports dashboards and analytics to monitor pharmacy operations.
- Ensure data integrity compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA) and security in all systems and reporting.
- Provide recommendations for datadriven decisionmaking based on system analysis and performance metrics.
User Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to endusers on new systems applications and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues ensuring minimal disruption to pharmacy services.
- Serve as a liaison between pharmacy users and technical teams ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed of pharmacy regulations industry standards and emerging technologies to ensure systems remain compliant.
- Support audits and ensure systems align with compliance standards including documentation and data management practices.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Healthcare Management or a related field.
- At least 57 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy services environment.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA) and pharmacy software systems (e.g. pharmacy management systems electronic health records).
- Familiarity with Healthcare / Pharmacy related applications for CRM system (Salesforce) a plus
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex systems and workflows.
- Proven experience in system implementation integration and process improvement.

- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with healthcare technologies including pharmacy management systems electronic prescribing and pharmacy dispensing systems.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools SQL to review / extract data reporting platforms and database management systems
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Good working knowledge of a cloudbased environment such as Azure / Azure DevOps for analysis design and development
