We are seeking a Head of Sales (Warehousing) for our client in the logistics sector. He/she will play a key position to drive revenue and sales growth by defining hittothe point of warehousing strategy for dangerous goods along with creating and maintaining customer relationships to enhance business reputation with the opportunities for regional travels.This role will based in either Singapore/Thailand.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute sales strategies and business plans to meet sales targets.
Identify new sales opportunities and market trends to drive growth in the warehousing sector.
Establish clear sales objectives and targets for the team.
Recruit train and manage the sales team providing ongoing coaching and support.
Inspire and guide the team to achieve sales goals and performance targets.
Conduct regular performance reviews and offer constructive feedback.
Understand customer needs and propose customized warehousing solutions.
Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation and prospecting to presentations and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor sales performance and report on key metrics to senior management.
Stay uptodate on market trends competitor activities and industry developments
Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base and increasing sales from existing accounts.
Manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Supply Chain Management or related fields
710 years proven experience in sales and management roles with experience working with dangerous goods in the warehousing logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Analytical and strategic thinking to develop effective sales strategies.
Understanding of warehousing and logistics operations.
Resultsdriven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of local and international trade regulations is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed.
