Core Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst to be the primary custodians of SAP business process groups. In this role, you will visualize, recommend, design, deliver, and deploy major process introductions or changes. You will ensure business continuity through adequate documentation and training for personnel on critical processes.
Act as a subject matter expert for SAP HCM Payroll processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective SAP solutions.
Provide documentation and training to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing support.
Analyze and optimize existing payroll processes to enhance efficiency and compliance
SAP System Implementation and Configuration:
Lead and support the implementation of SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO, HR, etc.) in alignment with business processes and objectives.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications and SAP configuration settings.
Configure SAP systems according to the business needs, ensuring proper integration between SAP modules and other enterprise applications.
Test and validate the system configuration, ensuring it meets business requirements and operational standards.
Business Process Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement or optimization through the use of SAP modules and functionalities.
Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and ensure SAP solutions are customized to address those needs.
Conduct process mapping, design solutions, and document business requirements and workflows for SAP-based solutions.
Provide advice on best practices for SAP usage and ensure that business processes are streamlined and automated within SAP.
User Support and Training:
Provide ongoing support to SAP users, troubleshooting issues related to system functionality, processes, and data discrepancies.
Create user documentation, training materials, and process manuals to ensure proper system usage.
Minimum of 6 years of IT industry experience, with 3-4 years of specific domain and technical expertise.
At least 4 years of experience in handling SAP application design, development, and support, focusing on the configuration and transactions of designated SAP modules relevant to the HCM payroll process group serviced by Almarai.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of one or more SAP modules (SAP MM, SD, FICO, HR, etc.), including configuration, business process design, and system integration.
Experience with SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects) and custom reporting.
Knowledge of SAP integration with other business systems (CRM, ERP, third-party applications).
Familiarity with SAP's database, data migration tools, and data management practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals.
